Our Mission Defined
"To make a difference in the lives of the people that we are with, so we can all make a difference in the world"
Mission defined:
Giving all glory and honor to the most high God.
• We acknowledge God in all that we do for He is our source. We can do nothing in this Ministry without His anointing. The leading of the Holy Spirit launched this Ministry. The windows that have been opened and the finances that have been sown into this Ministry are God directed and unsolicited. We will continue to do His work and He will continue to provide for all our needs.
Bringing the message of salvation to the lost.
• Ultimately, salvation for the lost is the reason for everything we do in this ministry. God's anointing is upon us to accomplish His will, but the anointing is for others. Saving souls is why Jesus came to Earth. We will carryout God's commands in Luke 4:18-19.
Healing broken marriages.
• The state of marriage in the world is abysmal and the state of marriage within the Church is no different. We are devoted to bringing understanding of what the Word of God has to say about marriage. If the Word of God is believed and applied in faith to our marriages, then every Christian marriage must be and will be successful.
• "God is not a man that He should lie" (Numbers 23:19 ). His Word always works, but we don't always choose to receive it. If spouses would allow God to soften their harden hearts, then forgiveness would follow and love would flow once again between spouses.
• Having a hard heart is a choice, as well as, loving or not loving someone. Why not choose love and live. "Given the choice of life or death, choose life" (Deuteronomy 30:19).
Restoring divided families.
• The spirit of division comes directly from the spirit of fear. It shows up in families as pride, envy, self-righteousness and in many other sinful ways. Satan hates family. Where families are absent, sin abounds. The family IS the husband (man) and the wife (woman), children are optional. God gives children to families as a blessing.
• As family members turn to God and trust in His Word as individuals, God begins to heal them and restore them. God sends His love to overcome the divisive spirit.
• Prayer and fasting on a regular basis for these family members can and will restore them. God loves family. His ultimate plan for families is to reproduce and replenish the earth. Anything that God created to reproduce and does not reproduce, He destroys.
• "Declare a thing and it shall be established" (Job 22:28 ). Why not declare the restoration of the family.
Building healthy loving Relationshipss within the Body of Christ.
• The Body of Christ should be a place to be nurtured, healed and edified. We know that God forgives sins when we repent, but we don't necessarily get healed from the hurt that accompanied our sin. The healing comes from and within the fellowship of the members of the Body of Christ. "Confess your trespasses to one another and pray for one another, so that you may be healed" (James 5:16 ).
• God expects us to be in fellowship and to build Relationshipss with one another. Isolated members are quickly defeated when problems arise, as they surely will. There are no "Lone Ranger" Christians whom God has singled out to do their own thing outside of the Body of Christ. God appoints the five fold ministries within each Church Body He raises up.
• We assist people to better understand themselves and better understand God's plan for the Body of Christ to work together in unity in order to accomplish His goals.
Raising up leaders in the Body of Christ.
• We provide leadership training for all levels of ministry. Leaders are born. It is their leadership skills that must be identified and developed, and/or made. We are all called into leadership by virtue of our salvation.
• Every Christian is a leader. We are commanded to tell someone about Jesus. God does not command us to do anything we can not do. We are followers of Jesus Christ, but we are called as leaders to the rest of the unsaved world.
Providing edification and encouragement to Church Leaders.
• Our desire is to provide a safe place for people in Church leadership to be able to express their personal issues and receive the support they need to help them through the challenges they face.
• If listening is all they desire, then we will listen; if counsel is what they desire, then we will provide counsel; if mentorship is what they desire, then we will be mentors or find mentors for them; above all, we will be their friends.
• We will be brothers and sisters in Christ.
• It should not be "lonely at the top" for church leaders. God even had Moses surround himself with assistants to support him in ministering to His people. Jesus had twelve, three were even closer than the rest, but even Jesus kept people close to Him.
• Unfortunately, many ministers believe they are called to carry the "burden" of ministry alone. First of all, you cannot carry the burden of ministry because it is too heavy for a man to carry. Jesus is the burden carrier not the pastor(s). Let Jesus do it, after all, He hired (called) pastors to feed His sheep, not carry them or be overwhelmed by them.
Assisting in building and multiplying church congregations.
• We will provide counsel and guidance in the critical arena of church growth. God does everything in decency and order. Establishing leadership teams that are able to work together and support each other is vital to church growth.
• We believe the foundation for these leadership teams is strong interpersonal Relationshipss. Where there are leaders, there are surely followers. Whether it is a conventional or cell church, the leadership structure is paramount to continued growth.
• "A chain is only as strong as its weakest link." While that is true for a chain, it is not true for any organization. An organization is only as strong as its leadership (at the top). If that were not true, then each time a new member came into an organization it would be weakened. The early church in the Book of Acts was strong and powerful. On two occasions 3,000 and 5,000 new members joined the church. The church was by no means weakened. It only got stronger because of the strength of the leaders overseeing the church, from house to house (Acts 2:41 & 4:4).
• A sound leadership team must be in place for any organization to grow and continue to grow. The establishment of this leadership team is a priority. Remember, even Jesus had a Judas, so just do it.
Reestablishing UNITY within the Body of Christ.
• Jesus said it best, "A house divided against itself cannot stand" (Matthew 12:25 ). If leaders are trained within the Body of Christ, to focus on preparing this planet for the return of Jesus, then various denominations will not matter. Fulfilling the vision, the Command that Jesus gave to us, that will overcome our differences.
• We, as Christians, must be focused on the "high calling" to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to every Nation, so that Jesus can return for His glorious Church. The denominations are fine as long as Jesus is their Lord.
• The Word of God, Jesus, must be the focus, the priority, and the reason for our lives. Dogma, denominational doctrine, and tradition must be secondary if we are going to evangelize the World.
• We believe the Body of Christ can and will come together in order to fulfill the mandate of Jesus, to preach the Gospel to every Nation (Mark 16:15 ). As we all begin to build Relationshipss as brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, we will set aside all philosophical differences, theological theories, and divisive traditions that stand in the way of our unconditional love for each other.
• Let the Word of God be the final say. Let Jesus be the arbitrator of our difference, in the end He will be anyway. Let us place the Commandments of God first and our traditions last (Matthew 15:6).
Turning the eyes of our Nation back to the Lord Jesus Christ.
• My Nation, our Nation, the United States of America was conceived and founded on the principle of religious freedom. The primary "religion" on which our Constitution, our independence, and our morale beliefs were founded is Christianity. Of the 55 signers of the Declaration of Independence, 53 were Christians. Our Nation's Christian heritage is not a matter of debate, but a matter of fact.
• In a world of nations known for their persecution of Christians, God raised up a Christian Nation of power and worldwide influence. Our growing pains have often been severe and once almost fatal. [The institution of slavery, an abomination in the eyes of God and an unabashed afront to God's greatest commandment, "to love God and to love thy neighbor as thyself," (Matthew 22:37-39) came within a single battle of destroying our Nation.] However, God's will be done and man's desire must bow down before Him.
• I believe it is God's will for our Nation to raise the standard of Christianity in the world once again. The influence of Christianity must be restored in America. The Body of Christ in America must pursue its rightful place in families, in the community, in the workplace, in the courtroom, and especially in the political arena our Nation.
• It is the responsiblity of the Body of Christ, the Church in America, to take back what God has given to it, and that is the role of leadership in our Nation. It will require a pursuit of "unity" within the Church, with a willingness to cross over denominational barriers and through much prayer and fasting, to set aside divisive "traditions."
• I believe if we all focus of our Lord and Savior and on the "Church" He created, we can all come together and fulfill our destiny as being the one Body of Jesus Christ.
WCLandTM believes each step of our mission will be completed. We are compelled by the written Word of God which has already prophesied the return of Jesus to gather together His glorious Church (Ephesians 5:27 ). Why not be that Church? Let us not take anything to the grave that Jesus gave us to share while we are here on earth.
