Peace on Earth - Jesus is Born!

"Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!" Luke 2:14

December is the month that we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ our Savior. This is the month that people talk about catching the "Christmas spirit" in their lives. Everywhere you go you see signs about "peace" and "joy" and having the Christmas spirit. People have been decorating for Christmas since the day after Halloween. There seems to be a noticeable change in how people treat each other during this time of year. There are company Christmas parties with gift giving and salary bonuses. Even the most tightfisted people loosen up a bit during this time of year. The Christmas season always seems to bring out the best in people, no matter how much they may have struggled throughout the year.

There is a sense of peace in the air for most people. Just by taking our attention off of all of the things that are not going so well, we are able to experience a sense of well being and hope that didn't exist just a few weeks before. Sometime this sense of well being can lead us into a free spending whirlwind that doesn't stop until the "bills" arrive sometime in January. However, few people seem to care during this season and choose to just deal with the consequences when they arrive next year.

What is this power that can come over people and allow them to act and be so different in their lives for just a few weeks? Who is it that we become during this few weeks that we simply refuse to be during the rest of the year? This is not just a Christian phenomenon, but a human phenomenon. Believers and non-believers alike get caught up in this season of love, joy, peace and giving unconditionally. I believe it is a special time of the year because it is the time of year that we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

"Peace on Earth and goodwill toward men" for what reason? God has given mankind a special dispensation of peace. The Son of God, Jesus our Lord is born and his birth had an immediate impact on mankind's Relationships with God. In the past, God rained down His wrath on evil on many occassions. Now, family and espcially "fatherhood" is God's focus for humanity. God is our Father and fathers are much more tolerant of their heirs (sons and daughters) than servants. God's peace has been granted to mankind and it will remain until the day and time described in the Book of Revelation 6:4, when the rider on the fiery red horse is "sent out to take (His) peace from the earth and that people should kill one another." (Post Rapture)

God's peace is revealed during this season for all of mankind to share in and enjoy. However, in order to keep His peace throughout the year you need a Relationships with His Son, Jesus. You need to be "born again" into the Body of Jesus Christ. The promise of SALVATION is what brings the wrath of the enemy, the devil. Jesus warned us in the Gospel of John 15:18-19, "If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you." The fight is against Jesus Christ and His Body of Christians. Just remember the battle is the Lord's, but the victory is ours, II Samuel 17:47, and II Chronicles 20:15.

THE FIGHT FOR CHRISTMAS
I know that there is a movement among some people to remove all semblance of Jesus Christ during this season, but if that should ever happen, then they will also, remove all semblance of love, joy, peace and unconditional giving too. It is not about the season, but about the reason for the season. Jesus Christ is the reason for the season. I know we often say and even sing this phrase, but today, it is becoming more and more apparent what the season would be like without Jesus Christ.

Today the Christmas season is not lead in by the acknowledgement of Christ Jesus, but is now, lead in by lawsuits by the "evil" ACLU (Anti-American Corrupt Legal Union). They are a tool of the devil. Today, everything that is associated in the least with Christmas and Christianity is openly and fiercely attacked by this Anti-American Corrupt Legal Union. They would have people believe that Christmas has nothing to do with the birth of Jesus Christ. Their version of Christmas is X-Mas, just another holiday. Unfortunately, major store chains, businesses, organizations, institutions of learning, the judicial, legislative and even the executive branches of our government are going along for the ride with this Anti-American Corrupt Legal Union. There is so much fear of lawsuits and boycotts across America that even the pillars of our great society and Nation are caving in to this "demonic" organization. Fear and offense are becoming the prevailing focuses of the Christmas season and not love, joy, peace and unconditional giving.

THE BATTLE STARTED IN THE BEGINNING
What is this all leading too? It is leading right back to the purpose of the first demonic attacks against mankind. Jesus warns us in the Gospel of John 10:10 which says, "The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." The devil came in the Garden of Eden against Adam and Eve to do exactly that which Jesus told us he would do. The devil hates mankind. His focus has always been to steal, kill, destroy and remove humanity from the face of the Earth by any means possible.

In the beginning, God gave Adam (the man and the woman) dominion over the earth, Genesis 1:26 & 5:2. Satan had already been cast down to the Earth and he was not about to let these creatures, who were made in the image and likeness of God take over. He tempted mankind and they fell for the temptation, he thought he had won. However, when God punished the man, the woman and the devil, He also, set in place a plan to restore mankind to dominion. It is in Genesis 3:14-15, " 14 So the Lord God said to the serpent: "Because you have done this, you are cursed more than all cattle, and more than every beast of the field; on your belly you shall go, and you shall eat dust all the days of your life. 15 And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed ; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel."

What a powerful word from God. Satan knew what the Lord meant by this punishment for his deeds. It was bad enough having to deal with this one man and woman, but now there would be more of them coming. Satan also knew that one of the offspring, the "Seed" of the woman, would bruise (crush, destroy) him. He knew that a woman does not have seed , let alone the "Seed" that was prophesied. (God did not say the Seed of the man, but the Seed of the woman) The "Seed" would not come from man, but from God Himself. What would the prince of darkness do now?

Just as Jesus would warn us, some 6000 years later, Satan did just as Jesus said he would, he persuaded Cain to kill his brother Abel. Satan could not kill Adam or Eve (Job 1:12 ) and he was not able to stop them from having children, so he attacked their offspring. Remember, the devil hates mankind, and especially family. His attacks against family would continue from that sinister day, when he brought forth the act of murder to destroy a man, until this very day. In his worry over the coming of the "Seed" of the woman, he has led mankind into famine, pestilence, plagues, disease, and war. He will use every means necessary to stop the coming of the Lord, the "Seed" of God, (Luke 1:35 ). He will not relent and he will not quit.

THE BATTLE IS NOT OVER
Today, over 6000 years since the first attacks against mankind, the devil is around with the same game plan, but different methods to deploy it. His hatred of mankind burns even brighter, since he failed to stop the "Seed" (Jesus) of the woman from being born. He tried to kill the baby Jesus when King Herod sent his soldiers to kill all the male children, two years and younger, but Joseph and Mary had escaped to Egypt with Jesus. He tried to tempt Jesus and cause Him to sin and thereby, losing His righteousness and His authority over him. Just as the devil thought he had won, with the death of Jesus on the cross, Jesus rose again on the third day, taking back the power, authority, and dominion that Adam had lost in the Garden of Eden.

What new plan could the enemy now devise, to continue his quest to steal, kill and destroy everything associated with mankind? We are seeing it first hand today in the demonic attacks against family through, divorce, abortion, fornication, incest, adultery and homosexuality. His attacks have continued through his attempts to destroy anything and everything associated with Jesus Christ. The Ten Commandants, the cross as a symbol of the death of Jesus, nativity scenes, the name Christmas, the celebration of the birth of Jesus, the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus, and even America itself (a Christian Nation) including the Boy Scouts of America are all under the attack of the demonic forces of Satan.

Today you can see that the role of the ACLU is absolutely demonic. The Anti-American Corrupt Legal Union is an agent of Satan. Their attacks against Christianity are not about freedom of anything, but control, censorship and destruction of everything related to Jesus Christ. The attacks are not just in America , but are worldwide. These attacks won't just stop or go away one day. The people and organizations that perpetrate these attacks will continue unless they are confronted and defeated. The same legal system that they have infected needs to be healed and used permanently to removed these demonic organizations.

This is the season to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. It is also the season to take a stand for America and for the Christian foundation on which it was built. As a Nation, America has stood back too long and allowed world opinion to mold and shape it into something it is not; and that is a European puppet or a Middle Eastern enemy. America is first and foremost a Nation of freedom. It is also a Nation of laws (a Republic) and majority rule (a Democracy).

America was and is founded on God's Commands, Biblical Laws and Christian principles. It has been by the blessings of God and protection of God that we have attained our greatness and prosperity. America is not a perfect Nation, but it is the best Nation on the planet. The long lines of people, worldwide, waiting for an opportunity to get into America and the hundreds of thousands that enter illegally, attest to the true world view of America . Don't be fooled or dissuaded by the liars, the demonic, and the haters of America and our way of life. Take a stand for our Nation, its values and history and believe in what it stands for.

God bless America ! How can God continue to bless America and allow the celebration of the birth of His Son, Jesus, to be destroyed? How can God continue to bless America while Christians sit back and do nothing about the assault against the very freedom that made America the great Nation that it is today? It is up to us as Americans and Christians to ACT to restore our freedom and FIGHT to restore the rights that so many have paid for with their blood.

Thank God that you can say God bless America and not have to apologize to anyone for saying it. Thank God that you can say God bless you and not fear anyone for saying it. Thank God that you can say Merry Christmas and show it through love, joy, peace and unconditional giving to anyone you choose.
