What Kind of Christian are You? "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. - "Hosea 4:6

"Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting get understanding." - Proverbs 4:7

Since that fateful day in the Garden of Eden, Satan has been watching for the "Seed" of the woman to come into the world (Genesis 3:15 ). He has lived in fear of the coming of the Messiah to "crush his head" and destroy his kingdom on earth. He was never sure of whom the "Seed" would be or what he would look like. Therefore, he waged an all out campaign to destroy as many male children, men and fathers as possible in his attempt to insure the " Seed " would not survive to complete His work - (I John 3:8).

Today, the enemy clearly knows the Messiah has come into the world and has already set the captives free. His initial plan did not work, but that has not stopped him from carrying on his campaign of destruction against mankind and men in particular. Men (not males; see (Marriage and Relationshipss) are appointed as "Head of households" and given the anointing for protection, health, wealth, and prosperity of their family. The devil hates all of mankind, but he especially despises families.

Although, Satan knows he is defeated and knows the end is approaching, he will not give up because he also knows that most of mankind does know he was defeated. He has continued to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10). Humanity is no match for the demonic forces roaming throughout the world, in the natural. However, in the spiritual, humanity is infinitely more powerful. Humans are made in the image and likeness of God the Father, the Son, and Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:26 ). As our spirit self, humans have access to the awesome power of God. This is the same power that Jesus has and used to defeat the devil. There is one catch and it is that you must be "born again" into the righteousness of Christ Jesus in order to access His power. Jesus had this power as a man, not because He was the Son of God, or mankind would never be able to access it. Jesus even told us, "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father" (John 14:12 ). The devil knows that Born Again Believers have this power, but he also knows that most do not know how to use it.

Most people who say that they are Christians have never read the Bible in its entirety. They have not even read the New Testament from cover to cover. How can they expect to access the power of Jesus Himself, when they do not know what that power is or that it is available to them? It is like someone, today, refusing to learn how to use a computer or access the internet. They will fall further and further behind everyone else.

"And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of our mind; that you may prove what is that good an acceptable and perfect will of God." - (Romans 12:2)

Refusing to renew their mind with the Word of God and be transformed into the Christian they are suppose to be is dangerous. In the most critical times, such as, when sickness, disease, financial problems, anger leading to wrath, temptations-trials-tests, and fear appear, they will be defeated often and loose their faith. Christians are defeated for lack of knowledge.

The power and answers have always been right there for them to use, but they choose to be defeated once again. Of course, they will blame the pastors, elders, counselors, church leaders, their praying friends, and their enabler(s) for not being there for them when they needed them the most. They choose to remain ignorant of the Word, so that they cannot be held accountable or responsible for their own lives and/or their past and present sins.

Once the enablers recognize the problem and steps aside, then the possibilities for these Christian victims to be healed and victorious will increase. Of course, be ready to be accused of not being very Christian, or loving, or caring, or compassionate. It is okay, Jesus was all of those things and they crucified Him anyway. So, do not continue on in supporting people in their ignorance. Use your gifts, talents and skills to edify and build up those seeking Discipleship with Jesus.

The devil hates Christians, but he can and will work with and use those walking in mediocrity. Stop making his campaign against mankind is easy for him. He knows the reluctance of Christians to learn the Word or be "doers" of the Word of God and not just "hearers" only. He sees the refusal of Christians to become Disciples of Jesus and he knows he has very little to fear from them. So, he just continues to steal, kill and destroy their possessions and also their lives, with many of them not even putting up a fight.

Christians are not Christians because they say so, they are Christians because they DO so. People can say anything, but until someone sees you act on what you say (given the opportunity), it is just talk. Faith is observable. Faith happens moment to moment in the present. Yesterday's faith is not available today because God is an ever present God. Everything with God happens in the NOW! "Now faith is…" - (Hebrews 11:1). Peter was walking on water one moment and sinking the next. Peter was fighting for Jesus one moment and denying Him the next.

How often have you heard Christians are praising Jesus one moment and cursing their brother (sister) the next. Christians are gathered together on Sunday morning worshipping the Lord one moment and gathered together at the bar, at the X-rated movie (or worst), on the phone gossiping, lying about why they can't come to work, cursing their spouse, divorcing their spouse, abusing their children, or lusting after something or someone the next moment. This shouldn't be so. Do you understand why the devil will not quit? He has so much help from "Christians" in carrying out his campaign of destruction that it seems to have gotten easier for him to do his job. Instead of being his adversaries, all too often Christians become his aides (sometimes unwittingly, but too often on purpose). Too many Christians wave the Jesus flag for a few hours on Sunday and live in defeat the rest of the week. The world sees Christians during the rest of the week, not during the few hours in church. Therefore, Christianity does not look any different or appear to make any difference in the lives of those professing it.

Too many so called "Christians" are suing churches, pastors, each other; marching for abortion rights and homosexual marriages; publicly fighting for the right of a "pastor" to practice homosexuality, a sin that God says is an ABOMINATION in His sight. Is there a scripture or verse in the Word of God to support these blatant sins? Did God change His mind about sin? Who do you believe, man or God?

A change is going to come to the Body of Jesus Christ because the power to change is already here. There's an outpouring of knowledge by the Holy Spirit today. Many Christian authors are truly inspired by God and given powerful revelation into His Word. They are sharing these revelations with the Body of Christ for our edification and for the proliferation of the spread of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Churches must run with this release of vital revelation in these last days, in order to train up Disciples who are willing to pursue and fulfill the call on their lives. The Gospel of Jesus Christ will be preached to the 4-Corners of the Earth, by Disciples, not by those who say they believe.

Who will you be by the end of the year? Will you still be a believer, watching and hoping someone else will do the work of the Ministry? Will you be a Disciple, doing the work of the Ministry? God will not make you or anyone else do anything. He gave us Free Will and what we choose to do with is solely up to us. Just remember, on Judgment Day no one will be standing next to you and no one will be accepted as your excuse for not obeying. The questions about your life will be simple and direct. They will be like this:

Did you obey My Word? Yes or No -

Did you obey My Commands? Yes or No -

Did you obey My Son, Jesus? Yes or No -
